Ralph Harrison Robbins

Ralph Harrison Robbins, 93, a native of North Braddock and current resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since May 1, 1992, died Monday, January 19, 1998 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born September 18, 1904 in North Braddock, a son of the late William Henry and Ida Kate Harrison Robbins.

Mr. Robbins worked as a funeral directors assistant for 35 years at the McFarland Funeral Home of North Braddock.  He previously worked as an electrical worker for 20 years at the Edgar J. Thompson Works of US Steel in North Braddock.

He was a member of First Methodist Church of Braddock.

Survivors include three nieces, Carol Cavanaugh of Silver Springs, MD, Jane Cribbs of Warren, OH and Sydney McGinley of Allentown and two nephews, Harry Robbins of El Camino, CA and William Robbins of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Thornburg and five brothers, George, Harry, Idris, Sidney and Williams Robbins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Monongahela Cemetery.
