Ralph L. Smith

Ralph L. Smith, 34, of Titusville, Venango County, died at his residence Monday, February 26, 1979.

He was born in Meadville on January 15, 1945, a son of Robert L. and Sara Reed Smith.  He married Elizabeth Proper on November 13, 1976.

He was employed at J & J Construction Co. as a carpenter.  He attended Randolph-East Mead public schools, and served two years in the US Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann and Tammy Lynn Smith of Guys Mills; one son, Robert L. Smith of Guys Mills; two stepdaughters, Lorie Leigh and Dawn Carol Gilson, both of Titusville; one stepson, Curtis Paul Gilson of Titusville; his mother, Mrs. James (Sara) Brown of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Bonnie) Lenhart of Guys Mills and Mrs. Frank (Beverly) Lojek of Guys Mills; two brothers, Harold L. Smith of Guys Mills and Ronald P. Smith of Harrington, KA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
