Ralph R. “Skip” Haskins, 76 of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of West Salem, and Wooster OH, passed away on November 1, 2018 in Lee Memorial Health Park Hospital in Fort Myers, FL, surrounded by his beloved family. Skip was born on March 24, 1942 in Bellaire, OH to the late Clyde R. and Jane Wheeldin Haskins. He was a 1960 Graduate of Cadiz High School in Cadiz, OH. He worked for many years at the American Color Printing Company in Medina, OH as a Lithographer. Skip was a member of the Congress Community Church of West Salem for 33 years and a current member of Safe Harbor Community Church in Fort Myers. He was a member of the Northwestern Ruritan Club, The Rainbow Stock Club, and Farm Council of West Salem, OH. In his spare time he enjoyed Volleyball in Congress, caring for his yard and garden, and antiquing. Most of all, Skip loved watching his grandson play baseball and tennis, and spending time with his family and friends. He married his beloved wife, R. Jane Haskins, on October 19, 1963. She resides in Fort Myers. In addition to his wife, Skip is survived by his daughter, Pamela Poland and husband Paul of Fort Myers, and grandson Eric Poland of Fort Myers. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Rinehart of Columbus, OH, and his brother Charles Haskins of Booneville, NY. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. Service will be held at Safe Harbor Community Church, Fort Myers, on Saturday December 29th.
