Raymond F. Nageotte

Raymond F. Nageotte, 76, died suddenly Saturday morning, June 18, 1966, at the home of his son, Robert A. Nageotte of Guys Mills, with whom he had made his home.

He was born in East Mead Township, April 15, 1890, a son of Louis and Julia Charlot Nageotte.  He and the former Olive Rush were married November 3, 1908.

A farmer most of his life, Mr. Nageotte had been a member of Randolph Grange for more than 50 years.

He was a member of St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown.

He is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Amos D. (Evelyn) Smith of Guys Mills, Mrs. Carl (Mary) Moran and Mrs. Wayne (Ethel) Beebe, both of Erie and Mrs. Stanley (Ruth) Humes of Meadville; his son, Robert; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Zita) Roche of Meadville and Mrs. Albert (Alice) Echnoz of Ontario, CA; a brother, Joseph C. Nageotte of State College; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
