Raymond Joseph Ewing, 50, of Detroit, MI, died early Wednesday, February 4, 1959, at the home of his mother, Mrs. Thomas R. Ewing, of Meadville, where he had been visiting.
Ewing was born in Corry March 30, 1908, a son of Thomas R. and Grace Jane Mason Ewing. He was an industrial engineer at the Detroit Arsenal. He was a graduate of St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY, and was a past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Society for the Advancement of Management. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two sisters, Dr. Ethel E. Ewing of Long Beach, CA and Miss Ruth M. Ewing of Hamilton, OH; three brothers, Dr. Fred L. Ewing of Meadville, Donald H. of Cuba, IL and O. A. Ewing of Erie; and several nieces an nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
