Raymond R. Robinson

Raymond R. Robinson, 86, of Guys Mills, died Friday, September 8, 1989, at Meadville Medical Center following a period of failing health.

Mr. Robinson was born in Ashtabula, OH, March 23, 1903, a son of Christopher and Gertrude Barnett Robinson.  He married Cora N. Smith May 12, 1925.  She preceded him in death in 1980.

He had worked at former Robinson's, Marquette's and Shryrock's furniture stores for a total of 50 years.

Survivors include three sons, Stanley Robinson of Tehachapi, CA; Verner Robinson of Lockhart, TX and Gary Robinson of Linesville; one daughter, Mrs. Richard E. (Wilma) Smith of Guys Mills; two brothers, Walter Robinson of Orlando, FL and Albert Robinson of Springboro; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Earl Robinson; six brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Denny Cemetery.
