Raymond W. Deross

Raymond W. DeRoss, 59, of Meadville, died Thursday, January 7, 1982, at Spencer Hospital after an illness of the past two years.

He was born at Meadville March 14, 1922, a son of Earl and Anna Kiser DeRoss.  He married Dorothy Manross April 8, 1944.

He was a member of and employed by Sheet Metal Workers International Local 12.  He also held membership in Meadville Aerie 429; was a life member of Vernon Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of Go for Fun Club of Crawford County.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, William E. of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Duane (Evelyn) Terrill of Richmond, CA, Mrs. Walter (Grace) Eich of Reading, CA and Mrs. Hazel Perry of Meadville; two brothers, Kenneth and Roland, both of Harmonsburg; several nieces and nephews; and four granddaughters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
