Renee Christine Bickerton

Renee Christine Bickerton, 65, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

She was born June 29, 1954 in Oil City, a daughter of Eugene Robert and Sara Hartle Slater, Sr.

Renee was a 1972 graduate of Cranberry High School.  She worked as a corrections officer at the Crawford County Prison.  She was a lover of animals.

Survivors include three children, Jennifer Price of Conneautville, Randall Stevenson, Jr. of Meadville, and Sherry Stevenson of North Carolina; two brothers, Gregory Slater of Meadville and Eugene Robert (Bob) Slater, Jr. (Merrie) of Seneca; a sister, Shelly Phillips of Meadville; and two grandchildren, Cara and Matthew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Yvonne Slater.

Services are private.
