Rev, Arthur G. Hunsberger

Rev. Arthur G. Hunsberger, 58, of Meadville, died Saturday, August 28, 1999 at Greenville Hospital following an illness of several months.

He was born September 8, 1940 in Montgomery Co., PA a son of the late William and Susie Grater Hunsberger.  He married Kathryn Obold June 15, 1962.  She survives.

He was the pastor of Wadsworth Avenue Evangelical Church for approximately 10 years.  He was past president of the greater Meadville Area Fellowship of Evangelical Pastors.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Jonathan Hunsberger (Averil) of Lytham, England and Timothy Hunsberger (Diana) of Ulannbator Mongolia; six grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Frances, Katherine, Hannah and Simon Hunsberger; six sisters, Hazel, Ethel, Laura, Viola, Thelma and Evelyn; and three brothers, Claude, Herman and Donald Hunsberger.

He was preceded in death by two brother, Wilmer and William Hunsberger.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
