Rev. Robert B. Fulton, 74, a pastor of Meadville United Presbyterian Church from 1926 to 1940, died late last night at his home, State Road Hill. He had been ill for some time.
In addition to the Meadville pastorate, Rev. Mr. Fulton had served in many United Presbyterian charges of eastern Ohio and western PA. He had been retired for several years.
Rev. Mr. Fulton was born in Bellaire, OH, July 1875. He was a graduate of Muskingum College, New Concord, OH and the Pittsburgh-Xenia Theological Seminary. He was a member of the Chartiers Presbytery of the United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, R. Wells Fulton and James W. Fulton, both of Meadville; three daughter, Mrs. Robert Stone of Kenton, OH, Miss Janet Fulton of Meadville and Mrs. H. Dean Clelland of McDonald, PA; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence E. McKelvey of Jacobsburg, OH; one brother, Rev. Charles D. Fulton, D.D. of Steunbenville, OH; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Waterford, PA.
