Richard E. Palmer, 31, of Woodcock Township, died suddenly Monday, February 12, 1968, at City Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.
He was a son of Elwood and Dorothy Beggs Palmer. Mr. Palmer married the former Anna Mae Johnston on June 27, 1958.
He was employed for the past four years as a foreman with the washing department of Saegertown Components, GTI Corp. Previous to that, he was employed by Grill's House of Carpets.
He was a member of First Christian Church and West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his widow, three sons, Joseph, Daniel and Thomas and three daughters, Tammy, Debbie and Linda, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Palmer Trainer of East Liverpool, OH; three sisters, Mrs. William (Nellie Lee) McDaniel of Detroit, Mrs. Harry (Donna Jean) Hall and Mrs. William (Kay Lynn) Griffiths, both of East Liverpool and a brother, Charles E. of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
