Richard Earl Davison, 43, of Meadville, died Thursday, January 1, 1970, at Spencer Hospital after an illness of four months.
He was born in Meadville, March 26, 1926, a son of Earl S. and Lenora Powell Davison. He married Rose Black July 24, 1954.
Mr. Davison was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed as a caller for the Erie Lackawanna Railway Co. and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline and Steamship Clerks. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are is widow; two children, Kimberly Ann and Frederick Dale, both at home; his mother and stepfather, Fred E. and Lenora Linton of Meadville; his father and stepmother, Earl and Dorothy Davison of Tampa, FL; three half brothers, Robert Davison of Guys Mills and Larry and Paul Davison, both in Florida; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
