Richard J. Roche

Richard J. Roche, 69, of Meadville, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born January 29, 1947 in Meadville, a son of Carl H. Roche and Lettie Frazier Roche Decker.

Richard attended Meadville public schools.  He was employed at The Downtown Mall in maintenance and security and previously worked at C & J Plastics.

Richard enjoyed fishing, nature photography, and spending time in the woods.

Survivors include four sisters, Sharon Lalli of Meadville, Carla Muddiman and her husband Charles of Meadville, Micki Wassel and her husband Alan of Erie, and Susan Teudhope and her husband Thomas of Girard; his twin brother, Robert Roche and his wife Harriet of Chesapeake, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Decker; a sister, Sandra Schroeder; and a nephew, Robert Roche, Jr.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a prayer service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
