Richard L. Pardee

Richard L. Pardee, 66, of Meadville, a school custodian, died Wednesday, August 28, 1991, at Springs Manor, Cambridge Springs, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Guys Mills, February 2, 1925, a son of Rolla and Gracia Graham Pardee.

He was a custodian for Crawford Central School District.  He previously was employed as glass cutter and installer at J. A. Deissler and also at Brunot and Hollabaugh Glass and Mirror Inc.  He was a veteran of World War II with the US Navy in the Pacific theater.  He was a member of the Eagles.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fred (Marian) Trace of Meadville; and two brothers, Charles M. Pardee of Geneva and Arden G. Pardee of Guys Mills.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Smith and Alice Moore and two brothers, Victor and Chester Pardee.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
