Richard M. Rudy

Richard M. Rudy, 68, of Blooming Valley, died Tuesday, February 19, 1974, at Mead Nursing Home where he had been a patient since September 11, 1973.  He had been ill for several years.

Born at Meadville April 25, 1905, he was a son of James and Maude Honiker Rudy.  He married Dorothea Plautz in 1969.  At various times he was employed by Erie Lackawanna Railway Co., Talon Division of Textron and a Westinghouse plant at Meadville.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include two brothers, Harold Rudy of Meadville and James Rudy of Jersey Shore, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
