Richard Maurice Degrange

Richard Maurice DeGrange, 18, son of Dr. and Mrs. Harold H. DeGrange, of Meadville, died Monday, April 6, 1964, at about 6:15 a.m. at his home from a self-inflicted bullet wound.

Richard, a member of Stone United Methodist Church, was graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School of 1963 and had been president of the Senior Class.  He also was a member of the Varsity M, a member of the Scholastic Honor Society and chairman of the Student Council foreign student drive.  He had attended Edinboro State College.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John of Rosemont, Chicago, IL and Thomas at home.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
