Robert A. Eves, 74, was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, having served with the US Navy.
He was a member of the Charles Stafford American Legion Post 111, the Eagles Club and the Heart to Heart Club. He was an avid golfer.
He retired from the former Talon, Inc. after more than 40 years of service.
He was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, where he was a long-time church usher.
Eves, of Meadville, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 14, 1994, at his home.
He was born in Indiana, PA February 20, 1920, a son of Ralph L. and Marie Grier Eves. He married Betty Bruce, June 21, 1947. She survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Connie) Jewell of Saegertown; a son, R. Scott Eves of Meadville; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Thomas of Warren, OH.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
