Robert “Bob” M. McHugh, 62 of Sandy Lake, passed away at his home on May 19, 2019. Bob was born in Sharon on October 3, 1956 to the late Robert L. McHugh Jr. and Dolores Hunter McHugh. Bob was a mechanic for a number of years at Barnett’s Garage in Greenville. In his earlier years he also worked as an exterminator and a mechanic at a Ford Garage. He earned several certifications in auto mechanics and loved his work. Even when he was not working, Bob was known to work on cars. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob is survived by his children, Ashley McClearn and husband Tyler of Sandy Lake, Brandy Plunkett and husband Kevin, and Robert Taylor and wife Millie, all of Anchorage, Alaska, sisters Kathy McHugh of Sharon, and Susan Boca and husband Larry of Sharpsville. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. There will be no public visitation as per Bob’s wishes.
