Robert “Bob” Stamp, 73 of Stoneboro, passed away on February 21, 2024 at UPMC Horizon – Greenville. Bob was born on February 17, 1951 to the late James and Virginia (Wilson) Stamp. He worked for many years at Greenville Steel Car and Reznor – Mercer.
Bob was an outdoorsman and loved spending time in nature. He was very knowledgeable about the nature around him and enjoyed going fishing and taking his family camping. In his earlier years he enjoyed reading and crafting ornaments and trinkets for his family as well as drawing. He loved playing “the quarter game” and scratch off tickets as well. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.
Left to cherish his memory are his companion of 28 years: Betty J. Frey of Stoneboro, children: Jason Stamp of Jamestown; Jessie Stamp (Jeremy) of Springboro; Jorden Stamp of NC; Hope Buck of Greenville; and Jennifer (Aaron) Rhodes of West Pittsburg, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister: Melody (George) Schell of Fredonia.
In addition to his parents Bob was preceded in death by his siblings: Tony Stamp; and Brenda Reiser, and step-son: Mark Frey.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where visitation will be from 12 pm – 3 pm on Monday, February 26.
Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
