Robert Bruce Brown

Robert Bruce Brown, 28, of Norfolk, VA, died Friday, June 17, 1960, at Delaware Hospital, Wilmington, DE.

Brown had been in critical condition as a result of an auto accident June 7 near Wilmington.  He was returning to Norfolk, VA, where he was employed, from a trip to New York City.

He was born in Meadville, November 27, 1931, a son of Robert E. and Evelyn L. Mays Brown.

Brown had just accepted a position as buyer for the Esquire Shop, Virginia Beach.  He previously was manager of Blocker Motor Sales, Norfolk, and also was window decorator for May Co., Cleveland.

He graduated from Meadville High School in 1949.

Surviving besides his parents are several aunts and uncles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
