Robert D. Stang, 57, of Conneaut Lake, PA died Friday, June 6, 2003 at home.
He was born in Cleveland, OH August 12, 1945 a son of Delos and Gloria C. Donato Stang. He married Sharon L. Dreisbach, January 1, 1994.
He was a 1964 graduate of Willoughby South High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War with the Navy Seabees.
He first worked as a self-employed home remodeler and then in 1977 was named President of Harmony Forge, Harmonsburg, PA. In 1996 he started Mal-Mor Forge, Conneaut Lake.
Survived by his wife, a step-daughter, Paula Petergal of Lantana, FL; a step-son, Kurt Kightlinger of Aliquippa, PA; two granddaughters, Malerie Petergal and Morgan Petergal; two brothers, Richard T. Stang (Flo) of Harmonsburg, PA and Thomas T. Stang (Sharon) of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Linda S. Buklad (Paul) of Hudson, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
