Robert E. Koehler

February 28, 1918 — November 15, 1975

Robert E. Koehler, 57, of Meadville, died Saturday, November 15, 1975, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, after a two-month illness.

He was born in Carnegie, February 28, 1918, a son of Joseph and Wilda Bedillion Koehler.  He married Margaret L. Swan, November 28, 1941.  She died March 17, 1967.  Mr. Koehler was employed as a machinist for Aetna Machine Co., Cochranton.  He was a member of the Mother Church, First Church of Christ Scientist of Boston, MA and of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Meadville.  He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the US Army in Europe.

Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Marshall (Wilda) Beatty of Saegertown, Mrs. Oran (Betty) Craggs of Meadville, Mrs. Harold (Earline) Shunk of Meadville; Mrs. Eleanor Monteleone of Cocoa, FL and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Rickert of Meadville; three brothers, Walter Koehler of Meadville, Clair Koehler of Eau Gallie, FL and Rodney Koehler of Cochranton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
