Robert E. Myers

Robert E. Myers, 63, of 557 Chestnut Street, Meadville died at home Saturday, June 10, 2006.

He was born in Meadville January 1, 1943 a son of Robert W. and Dorothy Sackett Myers.

He retired in 1991 as Executive Director of the Titusville Redevelopment Authority after 15 years of service and previously had worked for the Meadville Redevelopment Authority.

He was a 1961 graduate of Meadville High School and attended Penn State University.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #408 and the York Rite Bodies of N/W PA.  He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was instrumental in forming and a charter member of the Crawford Amateur Radio Society (CARS).

Survivors, include: one daughter, Laurie C. Myers and her husband David Gilbert of Euclid, OH; one son, Marc W. Myers and his wife Jacque of New Underwood, SD; two brothers, Gary A. Myers and James W. Myers and two grandchildren, Jeremy Myers and Park Myers.

No services are planned.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.

Memorial may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
