Robert H. Urquhart

Robert H. Urquhart, 76, of Meadville, died Tuesday, September 9, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Glenco, WY, April 30, 1910, a son of Hugh and Nellie McVitty Urquhart.  He married Theama Dygert, December 6, 1933.

Mr. Urquhart retired from Talon Inc. in 1975 where he had been employed as a maintenance worker.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Nellie) Rhoades of Meadville, Mrs. Bernard (Ruth) Calvert, Jr. and Mrs. Daniel (Barbara) Scott, both of Conneaut Lake; two sons, Robert R. Urquhart of Cochranton and Daniel Urquhart of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Kindervater of Meadville; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Russell Urquhart; a sister, Ellen Crosby and a brother, Hector Urquhart.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
