Robert (Bob) L. Foust, 76, of Conneaut Lake, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Rolling Fields following a period of declining health.
He was born July 7, 1938 in Meadville, a son of Virgil and Dorothy Zimmerman Foust. He married Judith Swan January 5, 1958 and she survives.
Bob was a 1956 graduate of Linesville High School. He was self-employed at Foust Excavating in Conneaut Lake with his father and brother Jack for 53 years, retiring in 2007.
Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Linesville and was a former member of Meadville Masonic Lodge 408. He enjoyed hunting and fishing including trips to New Foundland and the western United States.
Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Judy of 57 years, include a daughter, Victoria Ruth Trace and her husband Eric of Sierra Vista, AZ; two granddaughters, Sarah Lindsay McCracken and Meghan Victoria Meader; two great-grandsons, Brett Andrew McCracken and Patrick John McCracken; and a sister-in-law, Mavis Foust of Meadville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dean Robert Foust; a brother, Jack R. Foust; and a sister, Rita Buzzard.
Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.
The funeral and committal service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Linesville, 6114 U.S. Hwy 6, Linesville with Pastor Terry Smith, Associate Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Foust Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
