Robert L. Mcdaniel

Robert L. McDaniel, 80, of Meadville, died Wednesday morning at Spencer Hospital.  A retired farmer, he had been in failing health since he suffered a stroke May 11.

A son of the late Joseph and Eliza McCracken McDaniel, he lived most of his life in Wayne Township until he moved to Meadville in December 1951.

His wife, the former Lucetta Heath, died in 1931.  He was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Wayne Township near Cochranton.

Surviving are three sons, Leroy of Dearborn, MI, Ira of Cochranton, Charles of Guys Mills; four daughters, Blanche of Warren, PA, Irene of Meadville, Mrs. Harry McElhaney and Mrs. James Roha, both of Meadville; one sister, Mrs. Fred DuPont of Meadville; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
