Robert Leroy Army

Robert Leroy Army, 86, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born December 2, 1935 in Lima, OH, a son of Bernard and Theresa Seivers Army.  He married Barbara Brubaker August 7, 1955.

Bob was a 1954 graduate of Ohio City Liberty School.  He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving stateside in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958.  He worked as a machine repairman for Ford Motor Company for over 47 years.

Bob was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed square dancing, traveling with his high school classmates, and especially spending time with family.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Barbara, include four children, Cynthia Colvin (Kendal) of Lexington, OH, Steven Army (Rachelle) of Perrysburg, OH, Sheila Carmen (Walter) of Conneaut Lake, and Brian Army (David) of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Army (Barbara) of Connecticut and Kedar Army (Mary Lou) of Van Wert, OH; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 5th from 3-5 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where a memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Russ Hixson, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.
