Robert M. Scott

Robert M. Scott, 65, of Jacksonville, FL, died Tuesday, April 16, 1996 at Meadville Medical Center following a two year illness.

He was born in Little Cooley, March 15, 1931, a son of the late Cyril E. and Hazel Mae Wheeler Scott.

He retired as a truck driver after 35 years service, most recently working for Mushroom Transportation.  He previously drove for Florida East Coast Railroad of Jacksonville, Spaulding Inc. of Meadville and as a courier for Akra Travel of Jacksonville.

He was a member of Teamsters Local #564, Meadville, VFW #2006, Meadville and Holly Hill Florida Eagles Aire #4033.  He was also a member of AARP.

Survivors include three sisters, Joanne Crosley of Jacksonville, FL, Joellen Elliott of Orange Park, FL and Jolene Peterson of Meadville and five nieces.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Scott.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
