Robert N, Amy

Robert N. Amy, 51, of F St., died at City Hospital at 4:10 a.m. Friday, May 3, 1963, after a short illness.

He was born in Meadville, May 16, 1911, a son of Wayne and Maude Auer Amy.

He was employed for 25 years by Meadville Bread Co. and recently was a member of the maintenance starr at Allegheny College.

Mr. Amy was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  An Air Force veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion and of Meadville Masonic Lodge 408.

He is survived by his widow, the former Edna Guyot, whom he married September 3, 1932; a daughter, Roberta, wife of Dr. Alan D. Bailey of Meadville; two brothers, Donald of Hornell, NY, and Ivan of California; and three grandchildren.  A sister, Mrs. Geraldine Rose and a brother, Ralph, preceded him in death.

Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Bruce L. Middaugh, pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
