Robert Paul 'Bobby' Scott

Robert Paul “Bobby” Scott, 71, of Meadville died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Meadville May 31, 1949 a son of Robert C. and Jeannine E. Wilson Scott.  He attended Spring Board School in Oil City and was affiliated with U.C.I.P.  He was a member and loved attending and singing at Allida Smith Weslyan Methodist Church.  He also enjoyed local fairs, coloring books, pumpkins and Halloween.  He cherished spending time with family and having fun and he loved to laugh.

He is survived by three sisters, Sherry Wheaton (Ben) with whom he lived and were his special caregivers, Melody Bush and Carrie Nageotte all of Meadville; two brothers, Rick Scott (Billie Jo) of Conneautville and Paul Scott (Kelly) of Meadville, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Marie Scott and a brother, Edward Addison Scott.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 28th from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.  The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Stafford, Pastor of Allida Smith Weslyan Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lamba and the nurses and staff in the ICU of Meadville Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Bobby.
