Robert W. "Ben" Tennant

Robert W. “Ben” Tennant, 73 of Stoneboro, passed away the morning of December 23, 2018 at his home. Ben was born on September 2, 1945 in New Castle to the late Francis Jane Flack Tennant. He attended New Castle High School and went on to work as a tree trimmer for Asplund. Ben loved to ride his motorcycle any time he could. He enjoyed going to many area casinos whenever he had the chance. Ben married his beloved wife, Judith Counselman Tennant, on May 20, 1979, she survives at home. In addition to his wife, Ben is survived by his children, Michele Weitzel and companion Kevin Baumer of Ohio, Melissa Whitehouse and companion John Gallagher of Sandy Lake, and Holli Aranyos and husband Tommy of Michigan, grandchildren Chelsea, Dillon, Krysta, Zachary, Samantha, Nathan, and Shane, and great grandchildren Makenna, Charlotte, Nolan, Hadley, Janessa, and Melvin. In addition to his mother, Ben was preceded in death by his brother, Charles R. “Rick” Tennant. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
