Robert W. Broadbent

Robert W. (Rob) Broadbent, 30, of Vernon Township, died Sunday, January 5, 2003, at her residence. He was born May 23, 1972, in Greenville, a son of William and Linda Broadbent. He married Kelly Winckler October 5, 2002. He was a veteran, having served with the US Marines. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Greenville. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at the State Correctional Institution at Albion. He previously was employed by the Crawford County Correctional Facility. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Correction Officers Assn. He enjoyed bodybuilding and karate. Survivors include his wife of Meadville; three step-children, Abby Winckler, Drew Winckler and Dallas Winckler, all at home; his father, William Broadbent of Hermitage; his mother, Linda Broadbent of Greenville; a brother, Corry Broadbent (Tanya) of Maryland and his grandmother, Dorothy Shelkey of Greenville. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Columbium. Services Past Services
