Robert W. Faul

Robert W. Faul, 86 of 19895 Meadowland Drive, Meadville, died Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Geneva, PA on January 20, 1923, a son of Fred and Ida Bodeis Faul.  He married Margery Sikes September 21, 1947 and she survives.

He retired in 1985 from Avtex Corp. after 42 years of service.  He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army.  He was a former member of the Vernon Grange and a former Granger of the Year.  He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Margery, include two sons, John R. Faul of Meadville and Mark S. Faul of Palm Bay, FL; several nieces and nephews and his cat, K.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Faul, a brother and three sisters.

Calling hours will be Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.

The funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Walton, Pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
