Roberta 'Bobbie' Frost

June 26, 1943 — December 12, 2001

Roberta “Bobbie” Frost, 58, of 11458 Richmond Lane, Conneaut Lake, died at home Wednesday Dec. 12, 2001, attended by Hospice, with her family at her bedside.

She was born in Meadville June 26, 1943, a daughter of Robert John and Lillian First Beatty.  She was first married to Anthony P. “Tony” Passilla, and subsequently married Robert C. Frost Sept. 17, 1982.

She was a 1961 graduate of Meadville High School and had attended Erie Commercial College.  She had been employed as Executive Secretary to the Rev. William Brown when he was Executive Director of Wesbury United Methodist Community.  She then was owner–operator of Bobbies Ice Cream in the Downtown Mall for 17 years.  She was an active member of Stone United Methodist Church, its Chancel Choir and Carillon Bell Choir, and had served on many boards and committees.  She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and actively involved with the Friends of the National Parks at Gettysburg.

She cherished and loved her family, friends, and church.  Everyone who knew Bobbie recognized her beautiful smile, her grace, her delight in life, her optimistic belief in the goodness of everyone, and her willingness to assist those in need.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Robert, of 19 years, include a daughter, Karen M. Green, and her husband Alex of Orlando, Florida, 2 sons, Steven A. Passilla and his wife Dawn and Anthony P. “Tony” Passilla, Jr., and his wife Denise, both of Meadville, her Mother, Lillian McCooey, of Meadvlle, a sister, Sue Quinn and her husband Richard, of Grosse Ile, Mich., a brother, Theodore J. “Ted” Beatty and his wife Janet, of Visalia, Calif. and 3 grandchildren, Jackie, John, and Hannah, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stone United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Brown, Visitation pastor, and the Rev. James Durlesser, PhD., Senior pastor as co-officiants.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
