Roberta Elaine Harned

Roberta Elaine Harned, 72, of Kissimmee, FL, and formerly of Crossingville, died Sunday, December 13, 1998 at Florida Hospital Kissimmee following an extended illness.

She was born September 14, 1926 in Oil City, a daughter of the late John and Ruth Kastler McKee.  She married Arnold E. Harned August 24, 1946.  He survives.

Mrs. Harned worked as a machine operator for many years at Teledyne Penn Union in Edinboro.  She was a member of Holy redeemer Roman Catholic Church of Kissimmee.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Debra McBride and Joyce Schwab of Meadville; two sons, Donald E. Harned of Meadville and Gary A. Harned, Missing in Action in Vietnam, March 24, 1970; three brothers, John McKee of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Gerald McKee of Conneaut Lake and Richard McKee of Saegertown; two sisters, Betty Donovan of Centerville and JoAnne Daleffio of New Smyrna Beach, FL; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
