Roger Allen Kayser, Sr., 88 of Stoneboro, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024 at home. Roger was born in Pittsburgh on September 13, 1935 to the late Harry and Gertrude (Harding) Kayser. Roger proudly served his Country in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Roger was the owner and operator of Kayser Bakery Ovens, Inc. Roger traveled the world repairing bakery ovens, often taking his family along for a vacation.
Roger was Presbyterian by faith. He enjoyed spending time outdoors on his tractor and enjoying wildlife. He loved going hunting and fishing in his younger years. He was an avid Steelers & Penguins fan and also enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. Most of all he loved his family and was always there for them when they needed him.
He married his beloved wife, Deloma Fawn Knecht Kayser on April 15, 1956, she preceded him in death in December 2014.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Roger (Holly) Kayser, Jr. of Pulaski; Kaith Kayser of Arizona; and Faith (Rocky) Barber of Stoneboro, grandchildren: Brandi Kayser of Baltimore; Roger (Ashley) Kayser III of West Middlesex; Thomas Miller II of Massachusetts; Fawn Miller of Pittsburgh; Layton Miller of Pittsburgh; and Andy Hailey of Pittsburgh, and great-grandchildren: Devin; Nolan; and Gavin.
In addition to his wife and parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother: Ron Kayser.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose And Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
Private interment will take place at Coraopolis Cemetery, Coraopolis, PA
