Ronald E. Price

Ronald E. Price, 73, of Meadville died Friday, August 8, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital, Erie.  He was born September 14, 1940 in Titusville a son of Floyd and Doris Sopher Price.  He first married Janice Manross and subsequently married Judith Lasher June 12, 1976 and she survives.

He was a 1959 graduate of Titusville High School and served in the US Army from 1959 -1962.  He worked in the Spinning Dept. of Avtex Inc. for many years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Judith of 38 years, include: three children, Mitchell Price of Cresson, PA, Kathleen Price of Cranberry, PA, Jeffrey Price of Meadville; two step-children, Dennis Bailey of Meadville and Jodie Bailey Joyner of Meadville; a brother, Hugh Price of Titusville and numerous grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
