Ronald H. Waid

March 7, 1918 — April 27, 1967

Ronald H. Waid, 49, of Saegertown, died suddenly Thursday morning, April 27, 1967, at Grove City Hospital, Grove City.

He was born in Woodcock Township, March 7, 1918, a son of Roy S. and Lelah Rousebush Waid.  His widow, the former Eleanor Johnston, is a teacher at Brookhauser Elementary School, Saegertown.  They were married August 10, 1940.

Mr. Waid was employed for the past seven years as a highway inspector with the Franklin District Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways.  He had worked for 20 years at Plant 7, Talon, Inc.

He was a member of Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church of Saegertown and Cochranton American Legion Post.

Surviving, in addition to his widow, are a daughter, Mary Lou Waid, a freshman at Clarion State College and three sisters, Mrs. George (Hilda) Coy of Meadville, Mrs. Leslie (Marjorie) Hale of Hayward, CA and Mrs. Clyde (Marian) Wilcox of Cambridge Springs.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
