Rosalie D. Gill

Mrs. Rosalie D. Gill, a native of Meadville and a former resident of Rochester, NY, died Friday, July 29, 1966, at the home of a sister, Miss Fanny Dornhofer of Meadville.

Mrs. Gill, who had been in failing health for several years, lived with her sister for that past two months.

She was a daughter of John and Margaret Schobert Dornhofer and was married to Roscoe E. Gill.  He died in 1946.

Mrs. Gill retired in 1957 from the Rochester Gas and Electric Co. where she had worked for 32 years.  She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Rochester; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 314 of Rochester and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Bethany Shrine No. 1 at Rochester.

Surviving, besides Miss Dornhofer, are another sister, Mrs. Anne Grausam of Detroit; two brothers, George E. Dornhofer of Saegertown and the Rev. John Dornhofer of Vero Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
