Rose A. Besser

Mrs. Rose A. Besser, 53, of Guys Mills, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Friday, November 5, 1976, at Spencer Hospital after an illness of several months.  She had resided at Guys Mills since 1971.

Born in Pittsburgh on December 10, 1922, she was a daughter of Charles and Rose Snyder Christian.  In her earlier years she was employed by the Bell Telephone Co. system in Washington DC and Pittsburgh.  She was a graduate of Pittsburgh public schools.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Jacalyn Leveton of Spartansburg, SC, Miss Jill Besser of Meadville and Miss Sharon Besser at home; a son, Charles of Guys Mills; her mother; a sister, Mrs. Clara Henry of Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
