Rose Marie Dewey

Rose Marie Dewey, 88, formerly of Guys Mills, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born November 1, 1932 in Guys Mills, a daughter of Charles and Myrtle Powell.  She married Lloyd Dale Dewey April 15, 1950 and he preceded her in death November 2, 2006 after 56 years of marriage.

Rose attended Randolph High School and was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed caring for others.

Survivors include a son, David Dewey (Penny) of Townville; a daughter, Dorothy Anderson of Meadville; four grandchildren, Stephanie Miller (Matt) of Meadville, Annette Dewey (Ron) of Townville, Brian Dewey (Jen) of Guys Mills, and Sherry Wach (Jamie) of Minnesota; six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Garrett, Dylan, Carter, and Gabby; a sister, Shirley Skillsky of Guy Mills; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Price and a brother, William Powell.

Services are private.

Interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
