Roseann (Landolfi) Monti

Roseann Monti, 69, of Meadville passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Marquette Hospice House from complications due to atypical Parkinson’s disease.

Roseann was born January 3, 1953 in Ellwood City, PA a daughter of the late Angelo J. Landolfi and Victoria Comparone Landolfi.  She married John N. Monti on June 24, 1978 and he survives.

She was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School, Ellwood City and a 1974 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  Roseann was an elementary and preschool teacher in Ellwood City and Meadville for over 20 years.  She was a member of St. Brigid Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Eric M. Monti of Laurel, MD and Christopher J. Monti of North Ridgeville, OH; a brother, David C. Landolfi of New Castle; a sister, Phyllis Jean Varrati of North Canton, OH and an aunt, Angela Comparone of New Castle.  She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, Kathy Monti of Brookhaven, Vicky Pingie (Mark) of Bradford and Julie Moyer (Thomas) of Warren and a brother-in-law, Joe Monti (Robin) of Winter Springs, FL.

Private services will be held by the family.

Inurnment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
