Roseanna Greenleaf

Mrs. Roseanna Greenleaf, 89, widow of Frank C. Greenleaf died Sunday afternoon at her home in Meadville.

Born January 22, 1859, at Blooming Valley, Mrs. Greenleaf was the daughter of pioneer farmers, Edward and Martha Hammond Smith.  She lived in Syracuse, NY, until 1909, moving to a farm at Lyona, PA, where she lived until her husband's death in 1931.

Mrs. Greenleaf was a member of the Lyona Methodist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Nellie Joyce and Mrs. Minnie Trapani, both of Meadville, Mrs. C. H. Johnson of Janesville, WI and Mrs. William Secor of Syracuse, NY; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
