Roy E. Mangan

Roy E. (Boots) Mangan, 72, of Meadville, died Wednesday, October 5, 1983, at City Hospital after several years of poor health. He was born at Meadville December 29, 1910, a son of George and Reba Nageotte Mangan. He married Grace Hughes October 15, 1949. Mr. Mangan was retired after nearly 50 years as a linotype operator at the Meadville Tribune. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ; Masonic Lodge 408, Soloman Royal Arch Chapter 191, Timothy Alden Council No. 60, NW Commandary No. 25 and Kismet Grotto, all of Meadville; Crawford County Shrine Club; Scottish Rite Bodies of Erie; and Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie. Survivors, in addition to his widow, include several cousins. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Services Past Services
