Roy M. Nageotte

Roy M. Nageotte, 80, a resident of Methodist Nursing Hospital for 14 months, died at the hospital Tuesday, January 22, 1974, following an extended illness.

A Jamestown, NY, resident for 32 years, he was born in Crawford County, April 11, 1893, a son of Milton and Louise Galmish Nageotte.  He married Lillian Buchanan in 1926.  She died in 1972.

He was a retired express messenger for Erie Lackawanna Railway Co. and held a similar position earlier with the Pennsylvania Railroad Co.  He was a member of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church of Jamestown.

Survivors include a brother, George E. Nageotte of Meadville; a nephew, Roy Mangan of Meadville; and three nieces, Mrs. Lester (Shirley) Ketcham, Mrs. Betty Hobson and Mrs. Reba Johnston, all of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
