Roy McCauley Heath, 78, of Clearwater, FL, died at Clearwater Hospital on December 20, 1972, after being in poor health for several years.
Born in East Fairfield Township, on July 14, 1894, he was a son of Orrin and Vinnie Heath. He married Frances Marion Newcomb on October 2, 1926. He was the retired owner of Roy M. Heath Auto Agency on Detroit and was associated with the United Methodist Church.
A World War I veteran of the US Navy, he belonged to Ionic Masonic Lodge and the Moslem Shrine and its veteran's patrol, all in Detroit, and the Coudersport Consistory.
Survivors include his widow of Meadville; three cousins, A. L. Heath, Glen Heath and Mrs. Walter Johnson, all of Meadville; and a niece, Miss Patricia Ann Heath of Erie.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
