Roy Stainbrook

September 7, 1883 — January 1, 1753

Roy Stainbrook, 68, of Meadville, died Saturday night at City Hospital after an illness of two weeks.

He operated an East Fairfield Township farm for 35 years and later worked at the Meadville American Viscose Corp. plant for seven years.  He retired about two years ago.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna Allen Stainbrook; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Graham, Mrs. J. Boyd Cooper and Mrs. Willis Vogan of Geneva; two sons, LeRoy Stainbrook of Franklin and Frank of East Mead Township; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Moyer and Mrs. Mable Lehman of Meadville and Mrs. Blanche Custead of Hayfield Township and two brothers, Melvin Stainbrook of Bemidji, Minn., and John of Pittsburgh.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
