Ruric Douglass

September 29, 1859 — January 1, 1753

Ruric Douglass, 81, well known citizen of Woodcock Township, died early Wednesday at his home after a brief illness.  With the exception of nine years when he lived in Union City, he spent his entire life in the Woodcock Township district.

Mr. Douglass was a charter member of Gravel Run Lodge of IOOF.

Surviving are a son and two daughters, Ray Douglass and Mrs. Sheldon Smith of Woodcock Township; and Mrs. Granville Briggs of Blooming Valley; also ten grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Robert Baldwin of Cambridge Springs.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
