Russell E. Beuchat

Russell E. Beuchat, 81, resident of Crawford County Care Center since May, formerly of Guys Mills, a retired maintenance worker, died Tuesday, October 8, 1991, at the care center following a brief illness.

He was born in Cochranton, January 11, 1910, a son of Charles V. and Rose Laibe Beuchat.  He married Helen Proper, July 6, 1935.  She preceded him in death March 17, 1973.

He retired as a maintenance worker for the city of Independence, OH, after 11 years of service.  He previously was employed by Leo Mailliard Lumber Co. of Guys Mills for 12 years.

Survivors include a son, Russell C. Beuchat of Meadville; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Ruth) Waid of Parma, OH, Mrs. Louis (Marilyn) Steadman of Clintonville and Mrs. Barbara Stearn of Conneaut Lake; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Roy Beuchat.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
