Mrs. Ruth A. Kiser, 80, of Meadville, died at City Hospital on Thursday, January 25, 1973, after a short illness. She had been hospitalized two weeks.
Born at Meadville, December 14, 1892, she was a daughter of Samuel and Ella White Swisher. She first married Ralph B. Crosley who died in 1952. She later married Tracy Kiser who died in 1969. Mrs. Kiser was tax collector for Woodcock Township for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Margaret) Hock of Meadville, Mrs. Charlotte Goff of Martinez, CA and Mrs. Billy (Marian) Crane of Torrence, CA; three sons, Charles E. Crosley of Jacksonville, FL, Walter S. Crosley of Redondo Beach, CA and Daniel P. Crosley of Pittsburgh; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Roy (Esther) Ehrgott of Meadville; two stepsons, Elwood Kiser of Meadville and Ellis Kiser of Pasadena, CA; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
